GTT Order Policy

This policy outlines the policy regarding Good Till Triggered (GTT) orders placed through our trading platforms (IBT / Mobile / Browser). GTT orders offer clients the flexibility to place buy or sell orders with defined trigger conditions, valid for up to 364 days by default. However, in the event of corporate actions (e.g., stock splits, bonuses, rights issues, mergers, etc.), necessary adjustments or cancellations may be carried out to protect clients and maintain market stability.

1. GTT Order Details

– Accessible via client login on IBT, Mobile App, or Web Platform.

– Validity: Default order validity is 364 days unless cancelled or triggered earlier.

– Trigger Conditions:

• Price is Below: Triggers when LTP falls below the specified trigger price.
• Price is Above: Triggers when LTP rises above the specified trigger price.
• Immediately: Order placed at market price at the time of GTT submission.

– Order Combinations:

• Clients may set any combination of Main Order, Stop Loss, and Target.
• Stop Loss and Target are mutually exclusive (One Triggers, Other Cancels).
• Main Order is independent and does not auto-cancel Stop Loss/Target.

– Price Condition Options:

• Market Price (Default)
• Manually entered Limit Price
• LTP, Open, Close, ATP, Active/Passive Price Points

2. Corporate Action Handling

In case of corporate actions that impact stock price or quantity:

– Order Cancellation: GTT orders pending during major corporate actions may be cancelled to prevent erroneous execution. Clients will be notified.

– Order Retention: In cases like dividend announcements, GTT orders may remain active based on internal evaluation. Final discretion lies with the Member and will be communicated accordingly.

3.Client Notifications

– Clients will be informed prior to trading hours regarding any corporate actions and possible effects on their GTT orders.

– Communication will be sent via registered channels (Email, SMS, or Platform Notification).
